MAIN REASONS TO BUY THIS SYSTEM: You want a small, top-quality phone system. You want to use phone company voicemail. You want very simple installation, with no options to deal with. You want to save money.

  • The Panasonic KX-TA308 works on up to three ordinary phone lines, but can also work on VoIP to save money on phone calls.
  • This is the right size phone system for most homes and many small businesses. It's good for a bed-and-breakfast, country inn, boat, small government office, accountants, attorneys, architects, doctors, summer camps, small cab companies, vacation house, car dealer, art gallery, restaurant, beauty salon, caterer, bakery, retail, truck stop, garage.
  • Installation is super simple. Your phone wiring connects to standard modular jacks inside the cabinet. No special tools or training are necessary.
  • Circuitry for door intercoms and Caller ID is built in. Save hundreds of dollars. No extra modules to buy or install.
  • It will work right out of the box with no programming, but you can easily customize it by programming from a display phone.
  • Full installation and user documentation is provided, and we also provide unlimited toll-free tech support.
  • If you can install an ordinary phone jack, you can install this system. It's an ideal do-it-yourself project... or you can hire a pro to do all or some of the work.
  • It can be used with Panasonic's proprietary corded and cordless phones, or with almost any phone you now have.
  • Built-in intercom lets you call from phone to phone, make announcements through all phones, and even answer the door from any phone -- even a cordless in your back yard.
  • No interference from microwave ovens or wireless networks or security systems, as with some wireless phones.
  • Absolutely first class construction and voice quality.
  • One year warranty.
  • Free shipping anywhere in the USA -- even to Alaska and Hawaii!
  • The system can work with three "proprietary" phone types (KX-TA30830, 30820, 30850). They have one column of  buttons, pre-programmed for outside line access, one-button intercom calls, all-page, and page answer; but may be re-programmed for other functions, such as speed dialing. Phones are available in charcoal and white, and can be wall-mounted or used on a desk or table.
The KX-TA308 also works with single-line phones and gadgets, such as answerers, fax machines and modems. It will NOT work with other Panasonic proprietary phones.

IMPORTANT: You MUST have at least one KX-TA30830 phone to program the system and to see Caller ID. You will NOT see Caller ID on single-line phones or on Caller ID displays connected to the KX-TA308.

    • Non-expandable system with capacity of 3 lines and 8 phones.
    • Built-in Caller ID on Call Waiting.
    • Built-in door intercom/opener circuit for two doors.
    • Message Waiting indicator for phone company voicemail.
    • Each outside line can be assigned its own phone company voice mailbox. When a message is left on any one of the three lines, the large message-waiting light on each system phone is turned on and the associated line button flashes. By simply pressing the message button and the flashing line button at any phone, you can retrieve the recorded voicemail messages. You can program a local phone number, to avoid having to manually dial the number each time you want to get your voicemail.
    • The system has one very cute feature: when you plug in a phone, its one-touch intercom buttons are automatically configured to EXCLUDE itself -- no button is wasted by giving phone 103 a button to call 103.
    • You can decide which lines ring where, and at what time -- great for a business at home, or if you have separate liens for parents and kids.
    • If you don't want to use phone company voicemail, the system can work with an answering machine, or a Panasonic voice processor (with in-band signaling, not DPITS).
    • Call Forwarding feature lets you program the system to send calls to another internal phone, or off-premises to another phone, a cell phone, pager or just about anywhere there is a telephone.
    • Baby Monitor feature lets you quietly monitor the baby, children, elderly parents or any room in the house from any other room in the system.
    • Outside lines and phones connect with standard modular jacks.
    • 3.5mm jack for music or message on hold, and background music.
    • Paging output jack for use with a public address system.
    • Serial port can provide a record of all calls in and out.
    • 100-number system-wide speed dialing.
    • 8 one-touch speed dial numbers per phone.
    • 5 toll restriction classes.
    • 8 Extension Groups.
    • Caller ID log: 20 calls per phone, 300 for system
    • 4 intercom paths.
